Shin Megami Tensei IV

The Shin Megami Tensei series is one of the best RPG and JRPG series in gaming history. It's not an opinion, this is a fact. With the storyline being godly awesome, characters clinging to you, battle system being easy to learn but enemies are difficult, and the music being so natural to you, it's easily one of the best series in all gaming history. Now, Shin Megami Tensei IV is coming out on the 3DS and you can experience the sheer awesomeness that radiates from this series.



This game is probably coming out to us around late 2013 to possibly 2014. Keeping that in mind, the previous game, Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, came out in 2004. So it's going to be nearly ten years since the last game came out. I'm pumped and readying my voice to scream in pure frustration when this game comes out.

I wish a little more game play was shown in the vid, but you rated it so highly...I guess I'll have to check it out ^_^

I'll buy it day one, all the other RPGs you've recommended have been good ;]

This game seems pretty good, seems a bit scary as well though xD And at first I thought this game was referring to Persona 4 but apparently not.

Persona 4 is part of the Shin Megami Tensei series. It's just that SMT is mostly about the apocalyptic world instead of saving Japan from destruction.
